Corporate Gifts – delight your customers with a branded and / or personalised custom bar board, braai board, cutting / chopping board, cheese board or serving board.

Hospitality, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Pubs & Other Outlets – serve your food and beverages with a branded custom steak board, platter board, serving board, coffee board or cheese board”.

WDN WORKS custom boards are made from a range of woods perfectly suited to the intended use, the desired look, and to fit your budget. Wood is beautiful and apart from sealing it with food grade mineral oil and bees wax we leave it as natural as we can. To keep them in perfect condition these boards need to be polished with bee’s wax from time to time.

Each WDN WORKS board is made from a different plank and will contain unique markings; this is part of the board’s original beauty.

Due to the unique design of each WDN WORKS custom board we have a minimum order quantity of 10 boards

WOOD

Maple

Maple, while more expensive than the other woods, is perfectly suited for serving, cutting, chopping, and carving boards. It is a hard, close-grained, and small pored wood that is durable, suitably hard, and able to resist bacteria. The small pores block stains, cutting marks and discolouration and make the board easy to clean and hygienic. While it is durable, impact hardy and scratch resistant it is not so hard that it blunts your favourite knives in a hurry. Like all busy cutting, chopping and carving boards, it will pick up cuts along the way but that will only add to the appeal.
